Visiting PhD student from Pavia
Hello! I’m Matteo De Marco, a visiting PhD student from the Armenise-Harvard Laboratory of Structural Biology of Professor Federico Forneris in Pavia, Italy. Our research focuses on the structural and biochemical characterization of enzymes involved in the post-translational modification of collagen. I am visiting Arjen Jakobi’s laboratory to deepen my knowledge of the world of cryo-electron microscopy, a technique that has fascinated me since the beginning of my doctoral journey.
Apart from science, I am a big fan of music and literature, as well as mountain hikes and skydiving.
